Al-Burhan meets Fur Shura Council delegation

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st.Lt Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with the delegation of the Fur Shura Council. The meeting discussed developments in the security situation in the country and the efforts made to achieve security, stability and peace in Sudan.

The head of the Fur Shura Council, Honorable Salah al-Din Muhammad al-Fadl Rijal, said that the meeting comes within the framework of supporting and assisting the armed forces that are waging a battle of dignity and pride against the rebel terrorist militia that has committed widespread violations against the Sudanese people.

He said, “We affirmed our firm and supportive position for the armed forces to defeat the rebel militia and terrorist and cleanse the country of its filth.”

He stressed the involvement of the tribe’s members in the ranks of the armed forces and the popular resistance to achieve victory over the rebel militia, pointing to the great role played by all Sudanese tribes and social components and their support for the armed forces and in support of the unity of the national ranks.

He pointed out that he informed the Head of the Council about the extent of coordination and cooperation between all the tribes of Darfur to liberate the country from the filth of the rebellion and its effects.

Honorablel Salah al-Din condemned the disgraceful behavior and attack that the terrorist militia continued to carry out against the homeland and the citizen, expressing his regret for the events that took place in the villages of Gezira state.
