Al-Burhan arrives in Sennar state

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st.Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan arrived today in the city of Sennar and was received by the acting Governor of Sennar State, Muhammad Ali Abdullah, the Commander of the Blue Nile Military Region, and the Commander of the Sennar Front, Major General Dr. Rabei Abdullah, leaders of the state’s regular agencies, and a group of citizens.

He received detailed enlightenment on the operational situation in the sector and the readiness of the armed forces, other regular agencies, and those mobilized from the popular resistance to repel any attempts by the enemy to destabilize the security and stability of Sennar State.

He also inspected the front lines of the defenses in advance of Sennar and determined their readiness to defeat the terrorist Rapid Support militias.
Al-Burhan praised the heroic performance provided by the heroes of the armed forces and regular forces in defeating the militia.

His Excellency inspected the wounded and casualties of the Battle of Dignity, at Al-Kifah Specialized Hospital in the city of Sennar.
