Al-Atta visits Abbasiya and Banat neighborhood in Omdurman

1st. Lt.Gen.Yasser Abul Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, met with the people of the Abbasiyah and Banat neighborhoods in Omdurman, in the presence of the Commander of Omdurman Military District, the Corps of Engineers, and special action leaders.

The Commander of Omdurman Military Region thanked the people of Abbasiya and Banat for their steadfastness and adherence to their defense and protection of their neighborhoods.

In his speech, Al-Atta saluted all the people of Omdurman for their stance and support for the armed forces defending this ancient, historical city of Omdurman.

He stressed that the steadfastness of its people was a motivation for the rest of the Sudanese people to stand up to defend this country, sending his greetings to the people of El-Fasher, reassuring the citizens of the government’s efforts to create conditions for the return of life quickly, thanking them for their patience and steadfastness.

He concluded the visit with a meeting with the Abbasiya and Banat neighborhood committee, and promised to solve all their problems and direct the competent authorities to expedite this.
