SMRC Discusses Launching of Unified Window to Ease Gold Exporters’ Procedures

The Ministry of Minerals, Central Bank of Sudan, and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company (SMRC) joint meeting discussed the procedures of gold exportation and the means of its improving to increase the exportation revenues to replenish the treasury with hard currency in order to cover the requirements of the country from the essential commodities in this crucial times which Sudan is passing.
For his part, the General Manager of the SMRC, Mohammed Tahir Omer, said in press statement, that the meeting stressed the importance of coordination between the Central Bank of Sudan and the Ministry of Minerals represented by the SMRC to remove the obstacles facing the gold exporters, pointing out that the gold exportation is witnessing considerable development following the procedures taken by the SMRC with the concerned authorities.
He added that the meeting discussed the importance of launching a unified window to expedite the exportation process and encourage the exporters to deal with the official channels, besides discussing the issues of exportation revenues.
He coneyed good news to the gold exporters about improving the procedures the achieve the maximum benefits and to contribute in supporting the national economy in this crucial times.
