– Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jaber, member of the Transitiinal Sovereignty Council and Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, said that the Sudanese army has been fighting with a defensive doctrine that it has practiced since the eruption of the war in mid-April until what he described as the rebel forces were exhausted, then it began an interception attack that will achieve victory soon for the Sudanese people in this absurd war waged by the Rapid Support Forces.

– Lieutenant General Jaber said that public and governmental institutions were subjected to massive destruction whose reconstruction could exceed $150 billion, regardless of the damage incurred by the private sector and citizens.

– With regard to the negotiation process, Jaber said that the continuation of the war is due to the other party’s failure to adhere to what was agreed upon in the Jeddah platform.
“If they adhere to the decisions of Jeddah, the war will stop,” he said.

– Jaber denied that the Sudanese army was obstructing the access of aid to those in need in some areas, adding that Sudan accepted the aid in accordance with technical agreements that stipulate the preservation of the state’s security and sovereignty.

– Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber accused Chad, which showed support to the Rapid Support Forces a month or two after the start of the war.

– Regarding the UAE, Jaber confirmed that its support for the war in Sudan, which comes through some African countries, is continuous and monitored by the Sudanese army.

– With regard to the sources of weapons for the Sudanese army, Jaber stressed the country’s openness to all countries, noting the availability of weapons, especially conventional weapons, on the open market.
