Al-Buhan Meets National Forces Coordination Delegation

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan met today with a delegation of the National Forces Coordination, led by Deputy Head of the TSC Malik Aqar and Head of the Coordination, in the presence of number of Coordination leaders.

The Coordination announced its condemnation of the criminal violations and systematic genocide committed by the militia against citizens and civilian facilities.

The National Forces Coordination announced its support to the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue that does not exclude anyone, and its support for the popular resistance, announcing that it would sign a political pact with the armed forces.

Mustafa Tambour, the official spokesman of the National Democratic Forces Coordination, said in a press statement that the Head of the TSC was informed about the results of the founding conference of the National Democratic Forces Coordination.

Tambour said that the coordination affirmed its support to the SAF as they fight the battle of dignity, and that any political process could not begin until the rebel militia that wants to hijack and destroy the country is eliminated.

He added that during the meeting it was agreed to sign a political charter between the SAF and the National Forces Coordination.

For his part, member of the coordination, Ali Khalifa Askouri, said that the meeting touched on the coordination’s program and plans following its recent founding conference, in the presence of the Deputy Head of the TSC, and Head of the Coordination,Malek Aqar

He added that the delegation congratulated Al-Burhan on the victory of the SAF, other regular forces on the restoration of radio and television.

Askouri pointed out that the meeting touched on the overall situation in the country, the position of the political forces, and the efforts made to bring the national ranks together toexpand the base of participation for all political forces.
He said that Al-Burhan confirmed his support for this approach and that the government is ready and wants all political groups to agree on the minimum level of political action until the formation of government and setting out to build Sudan after the end of the war.
