Sudan Women Initiative Protest against RSF Atrocities and IGAD Policies

Sudan Women Initiative has organized a protest against the breaches of the RSF militia and IGAD policies towards Sudan
For her part, the head of the initiative, Dr. Alya Hassan Abouna said in press statements the women’s sector in concerned to support the the national and humanitarian issues including the strong stand against the rebelled RSF militia in its atrocities represented by raping and slavery of women, pointing out that the militia destroyed main infrastructure and cultural heritage.

She criticized the regional and international organizations for giving a blind eye and deaf ear to those atrocities.
She pointed out that this protest aims at affirming solidarity with the government’s decision to suspend dealing with IGAD on the Sudanese crisis, adding that inviting the leader of the RSF militia to IGAD meeting is a clear breach to Sudan’s sovereignty and violation to the principles of the regional and international organizations.
