Public Awareness

In the past 40 years, people of Sudan have been living in some kind of public hypnosis. The past ruling system has taken advantage of the strong religious foundation that all Sudanese has – despite their mentality differences and evil averages of each individual – but almost the intire population truly believed in the system as if it was their own savior. Giving one’s whole beliefs and trust to something questionable, something that needs to be checked is what made Sudan reach this level.
The Lack of awareness to one’s rights, one’s value, and one’s realization to one’s extreme importance in life is what allowed the past ruling system to manipulate the minds of all Sudanese nation, and succeed in doing so.
Keeping education very difficult to ensure the maximum illiteracy, punish all those who say the right thing, and imprison the youth who are ambitious, knowledgeable, and active to seek their right to improve and develop as human beings, and use all forms of respression; all made the Sudanese population forget to develop their public awareness. That common sense of standing up and say No this is not right, or this needs to be adjusted, was absent over the past years. Minds of people were trapped inside a box and never able to be aware of what is right and what is wrong. All used to what the system creates to be right is right, and what the system decides wrong is wrong.
After the development of technology, and it’s worldwide reach, the younger generations started to know more, to get educated more about right and wrong, about democracy and dictatorship, then the entire population started to develop a sense of awareness that enabled them to differentiate between being ruled and being controlled!
The story did not end by the start of the revolution in 2018, it has just begun. Now after the emerge of the war in Sudan, the Sudanese population is just getting started with developing even more awareness about all aspects; life, health, homeland, leaders, genocides, armed conflicts, and more. Aspects that many of Sudanese have never experienced before, and yet being forced to live on a daily basis.
May Allah grant wisdom upon our leaders to end this war.
