Nile Valley University to Resume Studies

The Council of Nile Valley University Deans held its first meeting yesterday, Wednesday, at the University’s headquarters in Atbara.
The meeting was chaired by the Chancellor, Prof. Hassan Al-Sayem in the presence of Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Al-Amin El-Tayeb El-Tahir, Vice Dean, Abdul Rahim Abdul Wahab and the participantion of the Director of Students Welfare Fund in River Nile State.
The meeting discussed and endorsed the status of implementation of the previous meeting resolutions, besides other academic, administrative and students-related issues.

The meeting hailed the performance of Social Peace Initiative launched by the University through its Community Support Mechanism and its significant role in organizing several scientific workshops, lectures, and various training courses targeting the citizens of the state and those who fled war-zones.
The meeting also deliberated the role of the University in hosting the final exams of several national universities a matter which was appreciated by those universities.
The meeting emphasized the importance of resuming the studies for first level students in all colleges as of 14 January, to be followed by other levels after the completion of providing the students’ required services.
For his part the Director of Students Welfare Fund, Ahmed Mohammed Hassan affirmed the boarding houses are ready to accommodate the students.
The Council concluded its meeting by endorsing the proposal of Electronic Education in the University through which the lectures will be uploaded and published electronically.
