Joint Cooperation Between Sudan and Japan in Health Sector

In a smart partnership between the Federal Ministry of Health and the Japanese Embassy in Sudan, discussions took place today to enhance joint cooperation between Japan and Sudan in the health Sector , the two parties committed to remove obstacles facing current and future ways of cooperation, to stand with Sudan in light of going on war .
Commissioner of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Ismat Mustafa, said in a press statement that Japan is one of the countries that responded to the emergency call, praising their response to support the central ambulance project with a number of first aid and medical devices, stressing the importance of cooperation in the next stage , focusing on training medical personnel and transferring expertise.
Japanese in academic and health institutions, pointing out that the partnerships come in order to strengthen the health system in Sudan, praising the efforts of the Chargé d’Affairs of the State of Japan in Sudan and the interest and standing with Sudan, he added: “The relations between the two countries are eternal and the cooperation aims to support the health sector,” he said.
Thanking the State of Japan for standing with Sudan in all the crises it faced.
He also received projects to support Sudan in more than eleven million dollars, implemented through United Nations organizations, where he stressed the need to make the most of the support and communicate with the organizations to direct the support according to the urgent need.
The Japanese Chargé d’Affaires to Sudan, Kentaro Mizodichi, explained the continued support and financing of many future projects that serve health.
He revealed that Japan is interested in vocational training in Sudan, explaining that the partnership between the Japanese and Sudanese governments is distinctive and extends for many years , includes multiple fields, pointing out that there is a joint training in environmental health projects and the provision of medical devices and equipment.
