Agar: IGAD committed Procedural Mistake

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Malik Agar affirmed that peace is the government’s goal which it was seeking in all regional and international forums, adding that nobody rejects peace.
He added that IGAD agreed in Djibouti summit
on a meeting between Al-Burhan and Himidti, but IGAD informed the Sudanese government that due technical reasons Himidti will not be able to attend.
He desclosed that the government surprisely knew that IGAD invited Himidti a matter which represents a procedural mistake and overstepping the charter of the organization, adding that IGAD did not consult the Sudanese government about the invitation which breaches the sovereignty of Sudan.
