Dr. Rashid Diab Honored on Arab Expatrste’s Day

Within the celebrsrions of the Arab Expatriate’s Day, Sudanese legendary artist and cultural activist, Dr. Rasihid Diab was honored by the
league of Arab States (LAS) in the presence of LAS ambassador, the Sudanese and Lebanese ambassdors to Spain who handed Dr. Diab (The Arab Expatriate Prize).

The occasion was Arab Expatriate’s Day, in which the Arab League honors distinguished Arab expatriates in all fields in the countries of the world in appreciation of their career and path.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Diab was previously awarded the Medal of Merit with the degree of Knight in Excellent Service from King Juan Carlos of Spain in 2014.

In his speech at the honoring ceremony, Dr. Diab dedicated the honor to the Sudanese people for their steadfastness and sacrifices throughout history for the sake of freedom and dignity.
