Orbits: Disgusting Video

I am inching to the 73 years of age a matter which simply means that I passed through many terrible scenes in my life.
As an example I remember very well the failed coup of 19 July 1971 and bloodshed in the Republican Palace where tens of high rank detained military officers were shot dead in a savage manner.
I also recall what was called then (the invasion of the mercenaries) which was foiled by Numeiri’s regime where hundreds were killed.
On 2008, JEM led by Dr. Khalil Ibrahim attempted to invade Khartoum but also his coup failed. In that incident hundreds were killed and arrested.
During the three decades of Al-Bashir’s regime the government practiced atrocities against Darfur armed struggle groups and that claimed the lives of more than 300 thousand people besides the displacement of millions.
In all the above incidents there were documented human rights violations.
But what is going on now in Darfur, particularly in Al-Genaina is unbelievable as I watched a disgusting video in which citizens from specific ethnicity (Masaleet) were buried alive by the RSF militia after torturing them. Some of those were forced to bury each other!
One of those tortured citizens asked the RSF soldiers to shoot him quickly then do whatever with his dead body. Is there anything more painful than that?
I tried to find any justification to those savage practices towards the citizens whom the RSF are making military targets, but unfortunately I failed because as we all know that the components of Darfur are living in peaceful coexistence and tolerance.
What is strange is that the RSF rebels are alleging that they are defending democracy! I don’t know what democracy they mean, as we all know that democracy comes through national accord and not through killing and burying the citizens alive!
Those brutal practices of the RSF rebels might be because of the tribal component from which they came and its hatred to other components, while in reality the components which are subject to the killing and burying alive are the original inhabitants and stakeholders of the area.
It is high time for the international community to condemn such brutal practices with the strongest terms and to work out a plan to protect the remaining citizens of Al-Genaina from the paws of the mercyless RSF criminal militia.
