Al-Burhan and MBS Meet in Riyadh

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt Gen Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Mohamed Bin Salman held today a bilateral meeting where they discussed the means of pushing forward the joint cooperation between Khartoum and Riyadh to serve the interests of the people of the two sisterly countries.
Al-Burhan breifed the Saudi Crown Prince on the developments in Sudan following the rebellion of the Rapid Support Forces a matter that resulted to destruction of public facilities, and claimed the lives of thousands, affirming that despite that the Sudanese government responded to mediation and accepted to meet with the RSF rebels in Jeddah Forum to bring an end to the sufferings of the Sudanese people.
Last May it was agreed that the RSF militia evacuate the residences of the citizens but the later did not implement what was agreed on.
Al-Burhan reiterated Sudan’s commitment to Jeddah Forum considering it as a mechanism to solve the Sudanese crisis.
For his part, the Saudi Crown Prince affirmed Saudi Arabia support to the unity, safety and security of Sudan considering that Sudan is an important county to Saudi Arabia, adding that the efforts of Saudi Arabia are commitments and responsibility towards Sudan sisterly country, confirming that their efforts will continue till it pay off, desclosing that dividing Sudan is a redline for Saudi Arabia.
He concluded that they aspire that Sudan enjoys peace and stability in the near future for its importance in the region besides its promising potentials.
