The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has welcomed the resumption of the negotiations between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, urging the implementation of the short-term ceasefire signed on May 20.
Meanwhile, Sudanese columnist, Abdul Magid Abdul Hamid commented by saying that Saudi Arabia is dealing with the issue by diplomatic conspiracy as Riyadh is attempting to pass the US/European vision by bringing back the FFC to the surface of the Sudanese political scene.
Abdul Hamid challenges that nobody can break the will of the Sudanese people and back those failed entities, concluding that Saudi Arabia is no more a neutral mediator in the war between the Sudanese people and the RSF militia.
Let us wait and see the outcomes of today’s negotiations.
