Foreign Minister Receives Credentials of FAO Representative

Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, has received in his office today the Representative of FAO, who submitted his credentials to the Minister as resident representative of FAO in Sudan.
FAO Representative pointed out to the fruitful relations with Sudan and the joint projects in agricultural development, enumerating the huge agricultural potentials in Sudan.
For his part the Acting Foreign Minister welcomed FAO Representative on behalf of the Sudanese people and government, pointing out to the distinguished cooperation between FAO and Sudan, adding that the technical and administrative support provided by the Organization represent an added value to the agricultural sector in Sudan.
The briefed FAO Representative on the developmentsvin Sudan which started by a coup attempt led by the RSF desolved militia, then turned out to wat against the Sudanese citizens and mass distruction of public facilities, affirming that the life in the rural areas outside Greater Khartoum are agriculturally stable but need more support and cooperation between FAO and the concerned authorities.
