Sheikh Hamad School in Atbara to kickoff Rehabilitation Campaign

The administration of Sheikh Hamad Secondary School for Girls is considered a national epic, as it is a pioneering educational institution in River Nile State, and that is obvious in its annual high scores in Sudan School Certificate exams every academic year.
The headmistress of the school, Amira Mohamed Hassan said in press statements that they are planning to launch a national campaign for rehabilitating the school led by the parents’ committee, officials in secondary education administration in River Nile State, Atbara locality, dignatories and Atbara Development Association in Khartoum and abroad.
She revealed the collapse of several classrooms and teaching staff offices.
She called on River Nile State government to contribute in supporting the school to enable it preserve its leading role in the region.
It is worth noting that Sheikh Hamad Secondary School for Girls was constructed by the renowned businessman, Sheikh Kamal Hamza who worked in Atbara municipality as an administrative officer in the seventieth of last century.
