NCCW files international claims against RSF on child soldiers

Secretary General of the National Council for Child Wefare (NCCW), Dr Abdallah Abu Al-Amin,said that they have filed claims to the Sudanese judiciary, the African, Arab and international justice institutions against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) after it practiced forceful recruitment of children to fight in its side.
He added that the number of missed children is very big in greater Kordofan, Darfur and Khartoum, affirming that the ICRC received 30 child soldiers, out of which 13 are malnutritioned and are now subject to medical procedures.
He described the children’s situations in Sudan as tragic, urging the national and international organizations to mobilize efforts to rescue those children.
It is worth noting that the UN humanitarian coordination office had announced last week that the Sudanese ministry of social affairs decided to sponsor 30 underaged children who were released by the Sudanese Army till they manage to join their families.
