Minnawi Describes Al-Genaina and other Darfur Areas Incidents as Genocide and Cleansing

Darfur Region Governor, Mini Arko Minnawi said that more than 10 thousand persons claimed their lives in the ongoing war between the Sudanese Army and the RSF out of which 7 thousand in Al-Genaina city.

In an exclusive interview with Al-Jazeera Net, Minnawi described the violations in Al-Genaina and other areas in the region as denicide and cleansing.
” The efforts of Darfur Region government and the wisdom of the armed struggle movements leaders along with the signatories of the region succeeded in aborting an imminent civil war” Minnawi said.
In regard to the humanitarian situations, Minnawi said that the central government failed in working out an appropriate plan to distribute the humanitarian assistance provided by the donors, affirming that Darfur Region did not receive any of the required humanitarian aid.
