Situation report

The head of the sovereignty council and commander-in-chief of the armed forces Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan continues his inspection tour to some of the military regions inside and outside the central capital.

Our forces in Al-Shajara military region crushed a new attack by the rebel militia on the armoured corps and the enemy fled after sustaining huge losses where our forces destroyed twenty-five fighter vehicles and four light tanks and killed and injured hundreds.

The rebel militia today carried out random shelling in the 24th lane in Ombada in Omdurman, leading to the killing of seven civilians the injuring of others. They also shelled Al-Hamadab using the same pattern, and the number of injuries among civilians is being counted.

Our forces in the various parts of the central capital continue their work and are achieving advances and directing strong strikes against the rebel militia.

We continue to observe and monitor the intentions and movements of the enemy inside and outside the capital and our forces are fully prepared to deal with them.
