Sudan and Iran underscore the importance of resumption of diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia

In the sidelines of the NAM ministerial meeting in Baku, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs,, Ambassador Ali Alsadig met with his Iranian counterpart, Hassan Amir where the Sudanese official expressed appreciation for the humanitarian assistance provided by Iranian Red Crescent provided to Sudan during the current crisis.
He congratulated his Iranian counterpart for the resumption of the diplomatic relations between Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a matter that will boost the security and stability in the area and the Islamic world.
Alsadig discussed the developments in Sudan, affirming that the Sudanese army will defeat the rebellion in a short time, and the delay is due to the existence of the rebels in the public facilities and residences of the citizens.
On his part the Iranian official expressed sorrow to the situations in Sudan, stressing that it is an internal affair and that the solution should be pure Substance without any foreign intervention, adding that Sudan had its pivotal role in supporting the issues of the Islamic world, wishing the return of stability to Sudan.
The two sides affirmed the importance of boosting the bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries.
