Great Lakes Extraordinary Summit Condemns the RSF Rebellion in Sudan

The extraordinary summit of Great Lakes held in Luanda last Saturday discussed the security situation in each of Sudan and Congo.
The Sudanese delegation to the summit led by Ambassador Dafallah Al-Haj Ali presented a report on the situations in Sudan resulted from the rebellion of the Rapid Support Forces and its violations, besides the efforts of the Sudanese government to restore the situation to normal.
The Sudanese envoy called on the summit to condemn the rebellion.
The final communiqué of the summit included a paragraph condemning the rebellion and the escalation of its violence, besides the necessity of coordination and consultations with Sudan in all initiatives.
The communiqué called for immediate ceasefire and welcomed the expansion of the political process umbrella.
