Orbits: The USA/Saudi Arabia Initiative

According to reliable sources the USA/Saudi Arabia Initiative includes, among other items, the following:
Official ceasefire by all parties.
Pull out of all armed forces from greater Khartoum .
Integrating the Rapid Support Forces under the General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces.
Sending all high ranks officers from the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces to retirement.
The Sudanese Armed Forces should be under the proposed head of the sovereignty council.
Stopping of any news recruit being in the Sudanese Armed Forces or the Rapid Support Forces.
Distribution of all Rapid Support Forces in the units of the Sudanese Armed forces all over the country.
Determining timetable for the Rapid Support Forces integration.
Sacking any officer proved to be loyal to any political party.
Bann any political party from interfering in military affairs.
Launching a comprehensive political dialogue to negotiate the Sudanese crisis and not power-share.
Formation of transitional parliament.
Formation of an agreed on non-partisan government.
Announcing a social contract to agree on how to rule Sudan.
Announcing the political contract aiming at constitution-making.
Formation of specialized committees to follow-up the implementation, besides electoral commission,
Population census.
Announcements of presidential elections.
We believe that the above items could be a draft of a national accord over which the armed forces and all the political forces can negotiate to reach a final political agreement accepted by all.
We urge the rivals who are now negotiating over the USA/Saudi Arabia initiative to accept it and to announce immediately a permanent ceasefire as the only way to stop the suffering of the citizens.
It is high time for the political forces and individuals to unite their stance and support the initiative in order to make it a success.
