Within the Nafaj Specifications for Social Responsibility, SSMO Launches Ramadan Communication Program

 The Sudanese Organization for Standardization and Metrology (SSMO) has started its annual program of communication during the month of Ramadan. This includes visits to the families of some of its employees, pensioners, and the deceased. In addition, a number of partners are also targeted. Ms. Rahba Saeed Abdullah, the Director General of SSMO, indicated that the program aims to enhance communication between the standards family and its friends, with the participation of SSMO departments under the coordination of the Public Relations and Media Unit.

As part of the Nafaj Standards Project for Social Responsibility for Employees, DEWA is implementing the “Thank You” program. The objective of this program is to appreciate the efforts of influential workers in serving colleagues and improving customer satisfaction. Rahba announced the cancellation of all Iftar programs for employees and the redirection of the budget to support vulnerable segments of society. During the Ramadan season and the joy of Eid, SSMO supported more than (150) entities of voluntary organizations and individuals as part of its social responsibility efforts.
