Sudan: Decision to increase gasoline Prices and slightly reduce gasoline:

Khartoum- The Ministry of Energy and Oil in Sudan decided, yesterday, to increase gasoline prices and reduce the value of gasoline, starting today.

Sudan imports most of its oil needs from abroad, as it imported in 2022 petroleum products worth more than $ 2.8 billion, and the trade balance deficit rose to more than $ 6.7 billion.

The Ministry of Energy and Oil said in a press statement that it “decided to adjust the prices of petroleum products as of today, as part of the monthly review of fuel prices.”

It pointed out that the price of a liter of gasoline will be at service stations in Khartoum state at 588 pounds instead of 520 pounds, while the price of a liter of gasoline will become 582 pounds instead of 600 pounds.

The statement added that that the price of the service includes Khartoum State fees of 8 pounds per liter, provided that the Khartoum State price is a reference for the rest of the 17 states.
