Statement of the Council of Arab Tribes in Tchad

The Council of Arab Tribes in Tchad issued a statement in which it mourns hundreds of its sons who were recruited by the Rapid Support Forces to achieve personal interests in brotherly Sudan.
The rapid Support Forces took advantage of the dire economic, political and security situations in Tchad and recruited thousands from the Arab tribes in Chad and sent them to the battlefield in Sudan.
The statement concluded by calling the remaining of its recruits in the Rapid Support Forces to surrender and report to the Sudanese Armed Forces, urging General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan and Commander Mini Arko Minnawi to play positive role in sending the detainees to Tchad.
