The international community must understand the full picture of what’s undergoing in Sudan now and put pressure against the crimes against humanity perpetrated by Mohammed Hamdan Daglo and his Rapid Support Forces, a militia Leader who is Using civilians as Armors inside Khartoum. His forces are committing atrocious crimes since they fired the first bullet in Khartoum on the morning of the 15th of April which dragged us to a war that we have been trying to avoid for a long time for the benefit of our people.
The Sudanese Armed Forces have monitored and documented several violations against civilians that was perpetrated by Daglo’s Rapid Support Forces in the past few days which are, but not limited to :
1. Invading, taking shield in many hospitals across Khartoum and using it as grounds for their attacks.
2. Centering heavy weaponry inside residential neighborhoods streets.
3. Invading civilians houses and using its rooftops as a grounds for their attacks by snipers.
4. Refusing to allow citizens to leave Khartoum by breaking the humanitarian truce in order to use them as hostages for as long as possible.
5. Attacks on Diplomats in Khartoum which we are taking affirmative action to secure their residencies from following attacks.
These crimes amongst others must be addressed immediately by all International Community actors when discussion lines are open with the Rapid Support Forces. The Respect for International Laws and treaties this forces is claiming to honor must be demonstrated by practice.
The Sudanese Armed Forces are fighting for the sovereignty of Sudan, against a militia who is trying to take power in Sudan by the power of its ammunition.
Nevertheless, The Sudanese Armed Forces stand open to peace and negotiating peace at all stages of this very dire times for our people.
Long live Sudan and the People of Sudan
