Orbits: The dispute between the army and the RSF requires restraint

Sudan’s military on Thursday warned of potential clashes with the RSF, which it said deployed troops in the capital and other cities.
Recent tensions are rooted in the integration of the RSF into the military.
The statements of tension between the army and the RSF had reached the pre-first shot stage, and the current security situation is close to slipping and does not tolerate routine procedures.
All political forces must refrain from issuing any statements or support for one of the parties.
The situation requires freezing any military act or utterance.
All political forces are urged to refrain from issuing any statements or support to one party at the expense of another.
The current crisis requires thinking outside the box, considering that events are moving quickly to form a new reality which, if we do not evaluate and assess it, might neglect previous political mechanisms and processes.
The situation is tense and requires the intervention of wise people to defuse this fuse, which, if it explodes, will eliminate all efforts made during the past period to restore the democratic path of the country.
It is good that National Umma Party has called on all political powers for an emergency meeting to be held in its head office to discuss the issue and come out with the appropriate solution to avoid any escalation between the Army and the RSF; but for me the issue requires from all the political forces to internalize their agonies and to consider that any military confrontation will lead the country into the constructive chaos which at the end results to Fragmentation and division of Sudan into several weak states.
