Israeli-American attempts to persuade Sudan to join the Negev Forum:

Washington and Tel Aviv are making efforts to persuade Sudan to join the Negev Forum, which includes, in addition to the United States and Israel, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Bahrain.
Israel’s Channel 13 said that despite the tension in US-Israeli relations, President Joe Biden’s administration and Benjamin Netanyahu’s government are cooperating in trying to convince Sudan to join the Negev Forum.
According to the channel, both Washington and Tel Aviv consider success in convincing Sudan’s military leaders to participate in the annual meeting of the Negev Forum countries in Morocco, Ramadan month, a “political achievement.”
The channel pointed out that diplomatic moves aimed at pressuring Sudan to agree to join the aforementioned forum are led by US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and his Israeli counterpart, Eli Cohen.
The channel did not rule out that Sudan’s sovereign council, led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, would agree to attend the upcoming Negev Forum conference in Rabat.
