Egyptian Army: Three planes transported most of our soldiers from Sudan

The Egyptian military spokesman announced, on Thursday, that 3 Egyptian military transport planes landed in Sudan on Wednesday, to evacuate most of his country’s forces from the country that has been witnessing fighting for days, pointing to the rest of the soldiers who arrived at the Cairo embassy in Khartoum in preparation for their return as well.
The Egyptian military spokesman, Colonel Gharib Abdel Hafez, published on his official Facebook page a statement saying:

Yesterday, Wednesday, April 19, all necessary coordination measures were taken with the Sudanese authorities for the landing of 3 military transport planes of the Egyptian armed forces at an air base in Sudanese territory.

The mission of the planes was to evacuate the Egyptian forces under comprehensive security measures for the forces and to take off from Sudanese territory through three consecutive flights for most of the Egyptian forces and return them to one of the Egyptian military air bases in Cairo.

Today, Thursday, in coordination with the concerned Sudanese authorities, friendly and brotherly countries, and the International Committee of the Red Cross in Sudan, the rest of the Egyptian armed forces arrived at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in preparation for the procedures for their evacuation from Sudanese lands, as soon as the situation stabilizes and the appropriate security conditions are available for their return to the homeland.
The Armed Forces confirm the health and safety of all Egyptian personnel who arrived in the homeland, as well as those present at the Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum.
