Al-Burhan: This is my Message to Hemidti

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the People’s Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, painted a bleak picture about the end of the war currently taking place between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, and said that no one can predict when and how the war will end.
In an interview with Al-Arabiya channel, he demanded the need to remove militants from residential areas to end the war, and said that the war inside cities prolongs the confrontation
Al-Burhan said: My message to Hemidti: This war has no winner and the only loser is the Sudanese people, and we must all sit down in order to restore hope to this people.
He added: I am currently in the command center, and I will not leave it except on a coffin, stressing that the army is purely Sudanese national forces and is not subject to anyone.
He stressed that the rapid support groups dragged Sudan into a futile war, and that the living conditions are deteriorating, and we share the international community’s concern about the nationals.
He said that a group of the Rapid Support Forces stormed Al-Huda prison and killed its guards, and that the Rapid Support Groups evacuated hospitals and turned them into military bases, stressing that the Rapid Support Groups take civilians as human shields.
He explained that support groups attack diplomatic missions without regard to international law.
Al-Burhan confirmed that all airports are under the control of the army, except for Khartoum and Nyala airports so far. He said: No one knows where Hemedti is, even his forces.
He said: We do not target any official figures, as do rapid support groups.
He described Hamidti’s statements as an outright lie, stressing that he had nothing to do with the previous regime.
Al-Burhan reaffirmed that the Rapid Support Forces were the ones who started the attack, and we took a defensive position.
