US Secretary of State Meets IGAD Secretary General

US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Executive Secretary Workneh Gebeyehu in Nairobi where the latter underscored the importance of boosting cooperation and strategic partnership with the US Administration, pointing out to the role of IGAD in regional peace and security.

In the meeting, they discussed regional issues, including the situations in Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, and Somalia.
