Khartoum-The Central Council for Freedom and Change will hold an important meeting tomorrow to resolve its position on the structure of sovereign power in the civilian government, and to approve the final political agreement expected to be signed on the first of April.
The parties to the political process received, on Sunday, the draft of the final agreement from a committee formed to draft it, and is expected to make their comments on the text today in preparation for drafting the final draft and signing it on time.
Reliable sources told Sudan Tribune last night that the Central Council meeting will consider the reports submitted by the Executive Office according to the costs issued by the previous meeting of the Council by forming committees to fill the power structures and the formation of the Legislative Council so that its formation keeps pace with the executive authority.
According to the sources, the Central Council will decide the position of the Freedom and Change Coalition on the form of sovereign authority contained in the political agreement to consist of a limited sovereign council, head of state or sovereign council representing the proportion of the Juba Peace Agreement.
According to the sources, the parties to the peace agreement will be represented in the Supreme Security and Defense Council, which is chaired by the prime minister.
