Sudan’s participation in the summit meeting of the Contact Group of the Non-Aligned Movement:

The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, on behalf of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, will participate in the summit meeting of the Contact Group of the Non-Aligned Movement on responding to global cooperation after the Corona pandemic, which will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, the day after tomorrow, Thursday.

Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, told the Sudan News Agency that the meeting will discuss the continuation of global efforts to combat the Corona pandemic, which led to a major global Overturn that had repercussions on the economy, politics and security.

The meeting will also consider the measures taken by the international community to provide aid to the affected countries, in addition to putting in place additional measures to face any future repercussions.

He indicated that the meeting will consider the global health care system, which is supposed to address global threats to health systems in various countries.

The minister will deliver Sudan’s statement before the summit, affirming the desire of the existing government to continue the democratic transformation and achieve the aspirations of the Sudanese people for stability, development and democratic transformation, and explain the efforts made by the government to combat the Corona pandemic with the support of friendly and brotherly countries.
