Sudan Rowing and Canoe Federation Honors a Great Sports Figure

Last week, the Sudanese Rowing and Canoe Federation traveled to Al-Dewaim town to celebrate and honor Brigadier Essam Abdullah Hamid, one of the great sports figures in Sudan.
The celebration highlighted the Brigadier’s achievements in the past years, and his great contributions to sports field in Sudan.
The celebration was held on Friday 3rd of March 2023, and took place in Al-Dewaim. It started in the morning and included sailboats and rowing races, in addition to football matches played by youth teams of Al-Dewaim town.
The participation in water shows was carried out by Sudanese kayaks, in addition to races between men and women.
In the evening, the celebration was attended by a number of the honorable public figures and sports federations including Khartoum and Al-Lamab club federations.
