SSMO of Sudan and South Sudan Discuss Means of Boosting Technical Cooperation

Within the preparations of the Sudanese Standardization and Metrology Organization (SSMO) and its counterpart of South Sudan to cooperate and integrate the technical efforts, a delegation from the South Sudanese Standardization of Metrology Organization arrived in Khartoum to reactivate the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two organizations since 2016 and to discuss the technical obstacles hindering the flow of trade between the two countries.

Director General of South Sudan Standardization and Metrology, Ms. Mary Gordon Mortan said that the reactivation of the MoU will have its considerable contribution in exchanging expertise in terms of excellence and technology besides facilitating the import and export movement between the two countries.
