Minnawi: National Consensus Crucial to Accomplish the Transitional Period

Leader of Sudan Liberation Army/Movment, leading figure in the Forces of Freedom and Change (Democratic Bloc), Minni Arko Minnawi said that the current situation requires more comprehensive solutions to be decided by the Sudanese themselves because they know better their issues.
He added in a press conference organized Friday in Khartoum by the National Coordination for Democratic Transition, that the political stability is important, pointing out that they are monitoring the developments in the political scene, calling on all politicians to be responsible.
He affirmed that the calls for united national army are an agreed on issue according to Juba Peace Agreement and December glorious revolution.
Minnawi added that peace is a pivotal issue and that the implementation of Juba Peace Agreement is important to reach the agreed on stage according to the timetables.
He concluded by assuring that Sudan requires joint efforts by all components to achieve stability.
