Media meetings aim at developing unified Arab strategy, Says Official

Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information, Dr. Nasr-Eddin Ahmed Mohamed, has said that the Arab media meetings in Kuwait aim at developing a unified Arab media strategy.
He said during in an interview to Cairo news channel Monday, on the sidelines of the Arab media meetings in Kuwait, that the meetings aim to set a plan for confronting rumors and hate speech, adding that the meetings dealt with many issues of the Arab media, including unification of the Arab media address.
Nasr-Eddin pointed out that the global developments and the flow of social media with its social and ethical challenges, require media strategy to cope with the challenges facing the Arab countries.
He stressed that the media strategy helps in unifying visions to reach a higher degree of credibility for Arab media policies and confidence in their capabilities.
