FM Undersecretary meets South Korean new ambassador to Sudan

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Daffallah Al-Haj Ali discussed, at his office Sunday with the new South Korean Ambassador to Khartoum Namgung Hwan, the progress of relations between the two friendly countries, welcoming and wishing him a good stay and a successful mission in Sudan.

The meeting also discussed the training opportunities and scholarships offered by South Korea to employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as a number of state institutions.

The two sides reviewed developments in the situation on the Korean peninsula, where Haj Ali affirmed Sudan’s keenness on a peaceful settlement and adherence to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, conveying to him the keenness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to cooperate with him to boost the relations between the two countries further.
