Circles: AL-Burhan and Hamiditi, meeting at the Guest House

The Transitional Sovereignty Council issued in the past two days a statement regarding the meeting held between the President of Transitional Sovereignty (TSC) General Abdel Fattah AL-Burhan, Commander in Chief of the armed forces and his Deputy, General Mohammed Hamdan Daglo at the Guest House in Khartoum.

The meeting discussed the current and important issues in the country besides the situation of the political process. The President and his deputy agreed to go ahead on what they had agreed before and they issued a decision to form a joined security committee from the armed forces, Rapid Support Forces the armed struggle movements and other regular forces;

Some differences between AL-Burhan and Daglo took place after the signature of the framework agreement which was signed on Fifth December 2022 between the military component and the FCC.AL-Burhan while addressing the armed forces said they should not go ahead on the framework agreement unless the Rapid Forces are integrated into the armed forces and that is the main condition for completing the framework agreement.

Member of the TSC, General Yasser AL-Atta while addressing a social ceremony stressed on the integration of the Rapid Forces and said that must be done. Daglo said that the framework agreement is the only way to solve the problem of Sudan and put an end to the Sudanese Political Crisis. But some differences still remain on some details between him and the Commander in Chief which was widely circulated in social media.

The recent meeting between AL-Burhan and  Hamidti at the Guest House may have removed many misunderstandings between them ,and Hamidti might soon receive the decision  of  integrating the  Rapid Forces in the armed forces in order to achieve the goal of forming one professional and national army.
