Al-Burhan: Politicians must distance themselves from army’s affairs

President of the Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan reiterated his warnings to the politicians from interfering in the army’s affairs.

Al-Burhan, who was addressing a mass rally in Um Sayala area in Bara North Kordofan Today, said that historically politicians and not the army who were behind the coups.

He affirmed that they are working in building a unified professional army which doesn’t interfere in the political affairs, disclosing that the political stability will be achieved before the upcoming elections.
