Sovereign Council Announces Reaching a Political Agreement
The last three days had witnessed series of meetings led by the President of the Sovereignty Council, 1st lt. Gem. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan in the presence of his deputy, 1sy Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo.
The meetings included all the signatories to the Framework Agreement besides the non-signatories.
After lengthen discussions in a high national spirits and the insistence to make the transitional period a success towards the democratic transformation, it was agreed on the final version of the political declaration.
Arrangements are underway for the procedures of signing the agreed on political declaration.
