President of the TSC directs boosting Sudan’s relations with Malaysia

The President of the Sovereignty Council, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has directed development and promotion of Sudan’s relations with Malaysia, referring to the distinguished cooperation relations between the two countries.

This came when Al-Burhan received today the Sudanese ambassador to Malaysia, Hassan Abdel-Salam Omer, prior to his departure to assume his assignment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sudan to Malaysia.

The ambassador said in a press statement that there are strong relations and ties between Sudan and Malaysia, pointing to the common interests between the two countries in light of the enormous resources and capabilities enjoyed by them.

He added that the President of the Sovereignty Council directed during the meeting the need to pay attention to the Sudanese presence in Malaysia and the Sudanese communities in non-resident representation countries in the Philippines, Thailand and Brunei, in order to communicate with them, solve their problems and link them to the homeland.
