Made in Sudan Exhibition to Kickoff Next Month

The Supreme Committee of the (Made in Sudan) exhibition, in its session No. (13), which will be held from 16-27 next March at the exhibition Land in Buri, headed by Ms. Batoul Abbas Awad Allam, the Minister of Industry in charge, in its meeting held at the Ministry of Industry, stressed the need for a special pavilion for the ministry supervised by the Ministry’s Information Center, through which its objectives, policies and specializations are highlighted, as well as its achievements during the past year.
Batool referred to excerpts from the articles of the Industry Organization and Development Law for the year 2021 to introduce it and spread its culture among the various state entities and institutions that aim at controlling the movement of the performance of the industrial sector in the country. Article 20 of the law is the most important of its provisions, which states: Prohibition of imposing any federal, state or local fees
On the industrial establishment or industrial crafts except with the approval of the Minister and reinforced by the decision of the Minister of Industry in charge No (12) regarding the suspension of state fees and levies on the industrial sector for the year 2022.
The conferees had underscored holding a plenary meeting chaired by the Minister of Industry in charge with the directors of operating companies and factories in order to put in touches and special arrangements for their participation in contributing to the success of the exhibition during the coming days, and the plans and budgets of the sub-committees for the exhibition (Made in Sudan) will be reviewed during the next meeting prior to passing them for the immediate start of its activities.
