Khartoum Governor directs to organize campaigns to raid sites suspected of promoting drugs

Khartoum State continued preparations for the start of the work of the Anti-Drug Council with the participation of all competent authorities, while the second meeting of the Council was approved under the chairmanship of the Acting Governor of Khartoum, in coordination with the National Committee for Drug Control and all authorities working in this field.

The meeting approved the formation of specialized committees to implement the tasks of the Council, which included committees for laws, a committee for programs, a media committee, a financial committee, a committee for studies and research, and a committee for the treatment of addicts.

The meeting also directed all committees to submit action plans and an executive programme to be implemented immediately.

The governor directed the competent agencies to organize campaigns to raid sites suspected of promoting drugs.
