Kabbashi: What is going on about dismantling the Army has nothing to do with reality

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Shams-El-Din Kabbashi has underscored that the Sudanese Armed Forces have remained and will remain steadfast no matter how many enemies rally to fight against them and that the Armed Forces would remain difficult for all attempts to divide the army.
He stressed no alternative to the Armed Forces except the Armed Forces.”
Kabbashi, who was addressing officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the 14th Infantry Division in Kadugli yesterday in the presence of commander of the Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Rashad Abdel-Hameed and commander of the Division, Maj. Gen. Mohamed Abdalla Al-Faki, said what is going on about dismantling and reforming of the Armed Forces was just talk which has nothing to do with reality, adding ‘we are supporting dialogue leading to a broad consensus among political civilians.
He reaffirmed integration of the Rapid Support Forces into the Armed Forces .
Gen. Kabbashi called for reactivating the state of emergency in the South Kordafan State and urged the officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the 14th Infantry Division not to be drawn up by incidents and not to be bias to any side, calling them to adhere to principle of impartiality.
The TSC member underlined the government keenness to boost security in the State through the repeated renewal of ceasefire and cessation of hostilities with the People Movement-Al-Hilu faction.
Commander of the Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Rahad Abdel-Hameed , for his part, stressed that he Armed Forces would be ready for anyone who tempts himself to tamper with security and stability of the state,, referring to the 14th Infantry Division as valve of safety and stability of the South Kordofan State.
