Framework agreement supporters faced two dilemmas; they were ignored and finally realized that there is no solution, except by resolving the dilemmas!!!!

First: From day one, we claimed that there were two dilemmas that the framework agreement would not succeed unless its supporters managed to:
- Determine the relationship between the military junta and the civilians during the transitional period.
- Broaden participation in the framework agreement, and identify the parties that will select the members of the transitional government institutions.
Second: We had referred to it as “the two dilemmas” because if the framework agreement solves all the five issues currently being discussed, it will not succeed unless it solves the aforementioned dilemmas.
Third: Thank god that the supporters of the framework agreement have begun to resolve one of the dilemmas, including a matter reported in the Intibaha newspaper this morning, that Al-Burhan intends to dissolve the Sovereignty Council within days, and to form and head a supreme council of the Armed Forces, provided that he maintains his sovereign duties.
Until an agreement is reached on a new sovereign level to be agreed upon in the final agreement, and most likely be confined to a limited sovereign body or a head of state from among the civil figures.
Fourth: As for expanding participation in signing the framework agreement, it was reported that Jaafar al-Mirghani, Jibril, and Minnawi had signed “in principle” the framework agreement, in addition to the National Unionist Party of (Youssef Muhammad Zain). And dialogue started yesterday between the Democratic Unionist Party- the origin of (Jaafar Al-Mirghani), and Al-Hilu in Juba.
Fifth: However, it must be clarified that there are still various obstacles to resolving the two dilemmas, which will not be resolved except by placing the interests of the country and the citizens above all considerations.
