Dalgo Welcomes Final Statement of Conference JPA

The Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has welcomed the final statement of the conference on Juba Peace Agreement – JPA – in completion of peace, as he said in a tweet on Twitter that it represents an important step towards completing the five issues of the final stage of the political process.

The TSC Vice – President affirmed his keenness to the continuation of efforts to join every actor who desires stability and security in the country and its move for a democratic civil rule, especially the parties who did not participate in the workshop.

Daglo renewed his full and clear commitment to implementing the framework agreement, saying that it represents a window of hope for our people at this critical time, adding, “We will do our utmost endeavor to accelerate steps to reach a final a political agreement that establishes a civil power to express the hopes and aspirations of the Sudanese people and leads the transitional phase until the achievement free and fair elections.

It is noteworthy that the peace conference witnessed a large participation of the signatories to the framework agreement, the armed struggle movements and stakeholders of the displaced people, farmers, nomads, youth and women.
