Commander in Chief Receives Students Admitted to Military College

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander in Chief of he Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan received today the 69th batch admitted to Military College, in the presence of the Chef of Staff, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Othman Al-Hussein, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration, and the Commanders of the Training Human Resources Departments.
Al-Burhan expressed pleasure for receiving the new students, saying that the criteria of admission to the Military College was of great interest to the General Command to be consistent with the policies of joining the Sudanese Armed Forces, based on nationalism and fair representation of all the people of Sudan in their various regions and ethnicities.
He added that the intension of returning to the two years system in the Military College is the best method to enable the military officer reach professionalism as it keeps them away from mixing between the military and political actions which could be caused by the environment of the university in which the politics are mixed with the military studies.

Al-Burhan pointed out that the Military College with its carefully selected curricula will lead the students to professionalism in the work as officers whose task lies in the proper use of weapons and men t defend the country as a professional soldier whose motto is (Allah and the Homeland).
He affirmed that joining the military is the path of sacrificing and readiness to exert all possible efforts for the sake of the homeland, adding that the Military College will teach them characteristics of the knight who doesn’t deceive or lie.
In concluding his speech he expressed hope and optimism of the General Command that those students will be the future leaders, affirming his proudness of their joining the military college.
It is to be noted that the new batch includes considerable number of military students who passed all the interviews and tests successful, hence fulfilled the requirements of admission under the supervision of specialized committees formed by the General Command.
