Birik: Eastern Sudan is suffering political, services, and education marginalization

Deputy Rapporteur of the Independent Supreme Council of Bija Communities, Chieftain Ahmed Birik Abu-Bakr affirmed that Eastern Sudan has been suffering since 1956, so optimism dominated the area after the outbreak of December revolution. He added that unfortunately the political, services, Cultural and education marginalization continued. On Eastern Sudan Path in Juba Peace Agreement, he describe those represented them as political dwarfs. He reiterated the importance of initiating dialogue forum for Eastern Sudan to discuss the deterioration of development in the region, describing the deterioration of education as regrettable as there are still straw-built schools. He called on the civil society to cooperate for the reconstruction of Eastern Sudan afar from the political polarization.
